Let's get a Stop The War single into the pop charts!

It only takes 3,000 sales to get into the Top 40 these days, and
30,000 to be Top 10. There's 500,000 demonstrators against the war in
Hyde Park. An e-mail campaign led to 400,000 entering their religion
on census forms as Jedi. We can do this!

Peace Not War have assembled an Alliance of Alternative Artists for a
Triple AAA side single for the protest vote, under the title 'SALT In
The Wound', for release on Jungle Records. There's CARPET BOMBERS FOR
PEACE which features ex-Dead Kennedys' frontman Jello Biafra as The
Cowboy President From Hell, with other musicians (perhaps including
members of a band well known for throwing buckets of water at
politicians!) singing 'Allah Save Queens'. Plus Australian anti-war
campaigners CHANGE produced by Crass, with their 'Ceasefire' song. And
long established activist punk band CONFLICT contribute a suitable
tirade in their new track 'A Gaping Hole'.

All the artists are well-known for campaigning against establishment
hypocrisy. All profits will go to the Stop The War coalition.

The single is released on March 17th, but is available to pre-order
NOW on the net with just a few clicks on either of the links below,
for a mere £2.99 to register your protest vote via these chart-return
retailers. They’ll ship on the release date. Buy both the CD-single
and the 7” version and register two votes! Just do it, and then e-mail
this letter to all your friends!
